Die Loch Gorm Limited Edition 2022 wurde in Oloroso-Sherry-Fässern gereift, die von der renommierten Bodega Jose y Miguel Martin stammen, von der auch Glenfarclas ihre berühmten Sherry-Fässer bezieht. Die außergewöhnlich intensiven Sherry-Aromen aus der Vollreifung der Fässer der Bodega geben dem Whisky einen vollmundigen und fruchtigen Charakter, der sich wunderbar mit dem klassischen Kilchoman Torfrauch und Zitrusaromen verbindet.

Original Tasting Notes:

Nose: Intense sweet pipe smoke, followed by waves of freshly cut strawberries and candied lemon peel. Lighter notes of Neroli (orange blossoms), soft toffee and cloves.

Palate: An initial note of dark chocolate and toasted walnuts, gentle tobacco smokiness, hints of caramel and dates accompanied by subtle warming peat smoke.

Finish: Long and evolving with cinnamon and liquorice wood, chocolate bitters and lingering earthy smoke.
